1 Hopscotchلعبة الحجلة
Draw ten numbered squares on the ground with chalk. Throw a small stone into square 1 and hop on one foot, skipping the square with the stone. When you reach the end, come back and pick it up. Then it's square 2's turn! This game is played in many countries around the world.
ارسم على الأرض بالطباشير عشرة مربعات مرقمة، وارمِ حجرًا صغيرًا في المربع الأول، ثم اقفز على رجل واحدة متجاوزًا المربع الذي فيه الحجر. وعندما تصل إلى الآخر ارجع والتقطه، ثم انتقل إلى المربع الثاني! هذه اللعبة معروفة في بلدان كثيرة.
2 Riddlesألغاز
1) It has leaves but it isn't a tree, it has a spine but it isn't an animal. What is it? (A book)
2) The more you take away, the bigger it gets. What is it? (A hole)
3) It has teeth but it doesn't bite. What is it? (A comb)
١) له أوراق وليس شجرة، وله ظهر وليس حيوانًا. ما هو؟ (الكتاب)
٢) كلما أخذت منها كبرت. ما هي؟ (الحفرة)
٣) له أسنان ولا يعضّ. ما هو؟ (المشط)
3 Craft: a Ramadan lanternصنع فانوس رمضان
You need: a sheet of coloured paper, scissors, glue and an LED torch. Fold the sheet in half lengthwise, cut straight lines from the fold to two fingers from the edge, then open it and glue it into a cylinder. Add a strip as a handle and put the LED light inside (never a candle!).
تحتاج إلى: ورقة ملونة ومقص وغراء ومصباح صغير. اطوِ الورقة طوليًا، وقصّ خطوطًا مستقيمة من الطيّة حتى قرب الحافة، ثم افتحها وألصقها على شكل أسطوانة. أضف شريطًا كمقبض، وضع في داخلها المصباح الصغير (ولا تستعمل شمعة أبدًا!).
