1 What is cultural mediationما هي الوساطة الثقافية
A cultural mediator is a person who knows two languages and two cultures and helps families, schools and services understand each other better. If a parent does not understand the language well at school, you can ask for a mediator: it is a right and it helps children feel good.
الوسيط الثقافي شخص يعرف لغتين وثقافتين، ويساعد العائلات والمدارس والمؤسسات على التفاهم. وإذا لم يفهم أحد الوالدين الإيطالية جيدًا في المدرسة، يمكن طلب وسيط ثقافي، فهذا حق يساعد على راحة الأطفال.
2 Our festivalsأعيادنا
Muslims celebrate two main festivals: Eid al-Fitr, at the end of Ramadan, and Eid al-Adha, the festival of sacrifice, during the time of Hajj. Tell your classmates about them! And listen to their festivals too: getting to know each other is the first step to becoming friends.
يحتفل المسلمون بعيدين رئيسيين: عيد الفطر في آخر رمضان، وعيد الأضحى في موسم الحج. احكِ عنهما لزملائك، واستمع أيضًا إلى أعيادهم، فالتعارف أول خطوة نحو الصداقة.
3 Ramadan at schoolرمضان في المدرسة
During Ramadan it is useful for parents to tell the school if their child is trying to fast, so teachers can understand if the child is tired. In the canteen you can ask for a menu without pork. Talking to teachers with trust helps everyone.
في رمضان يُستحسن أن يُخبر الوالدان المدرسة إذا كان الطفل يتدرب على الصيام، لتتفهم المعلمات تعبه. ويمكن في المقصف طلب وجبات دون لحم الخنزير. والحوار مع المعلمين بثقة يساعد الجميع.
