1 Continents and oceansالقارات والمحيطات
Most of the Earth is covered by water. The land is divided into continents: Europe, Asia, Africa, America, Oceania and Antarctica. The largest oceans are the Pacific, the Atlantic and the Indian Ocean. Asia is the largest continent.
يغطي الماء معظم سطح الأرض، واليابسة مقسمة إلى قارات: أوروبا وآسيا وأفريقيا وأمريكا وأوقيانوسيا والقارة القطبية الجنوبية. وأكبر المحيطات: الهادئ والأطلسي والهندي. وآسيا هي أكبر القارات.
2 Italyإيطاليا
Italy is shaped like a boot and is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea. The capital is Rome. It is divided into 20 regions, including Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy and Sicily. The highest mountains are the Alps, in the north, and the longest river is the Po.
تشبه إيطاليا الحذاء الطويل، ويحيط بها البحر الأبيض المتوسط. عاصمتها روما، وتنقسم إلى عشرين إقليمًا، منها إميليا رومانيا ولومبارديا وصقلية. أعلى جبالها جبال الألب في الشمال، وأطول أنهارها نهر البو.
3 Makkah and Madinahمكة والمدينة
Makkah and Madinah are in Saudi Arabia. In Makkah there is the Ka'ba, which Muslims all over the world face when they pray: this direction is called the Qibla. In Madinah there is the Prophet's Mosque ﷺ. From Italy, the Qibla is towards the south-east.
تقع مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة في المملكة العربية السعودية. في مكة توجد الكعبة التي يتجه إليها المسلمون في صلاتهم من كل العالم، وهذه هي القبلة. وفي المدينة يوجد المسجد النبوي. ومن إيطاليا تكون القبلة نحو الجنوب الشرقي.
