إبراهيم عليه السلام
ذات يوم كسّر إبراهيم الأصنام كلها إلا كبيرها. فلما سألوه قال: اسألوهم إن كانوا ينطقون! فعرفوا أن الأصنام لا تنفع ولا تضر.
One day Abraham broke all the statues except the biggest one. When they questioned him, he said: "Ask them, if they can speak!" So they understood the statues could do nothing.
